Salzburg is a beautiful, bustling city filled with lots of charm, interesting history, baroque architechture, beautiful scenery, 'The Sound Of Music', and of course, Mozart! One of the many highlights of the old part of the city is the Residenzplatz which is surrounded by cathedrals and churches (A total of 35 bells, which all ring together several times a day). A truly amazing experience. The Mirabell Palace and gardens are lovely to stroll through, and the Hohensalzburg Fortress is also a must see(for the stunning views over the city).I would recommend Salzburg highly, and would not hesitate to see it again on my next travels to Europe.
