The largest one is the Market, the commercial heart of medieval Bruges. The second square is called the &#39;Burg&#39;. Here was, and still is, the heart of the administrative Bruges. The fortress of Count Baldwin I was built there. Later administration and sanctuaries were erected there. The Left in the picture is the Town Hall in gothic style which was created in 1376 and is the oldest in Flandres. The facade has 6 ribbed windows and 48 recesses with statues. </div></nolayer></noembed>
