Breathtaking
Your photos are beautiful. My favorites are twin towers and self-reflection but they are all amazing. In the research station photo, what is the brown stuff? Is that snow or smoke or something else?

Seal Not Sea Lion
Michael:

That thing is a seal, NOT a sea lion. Seals have very undeveloped flippers, and can't move on land except with great difficulty. They have to kind of roll their body forward by shifting their tremendous body weight.

A sea lion, however, has fins that it uses to propel itself forward both in the water AND on land.
