next door was built as a Redemptorist Fathers' monastery in 1913. [Sharon had gone in looking for someone to interview ;o.] The monastery was expanded in 1920 & these additions have served at different times as a junior & major seminary, and in the late 40s & 50s, as an elementary Parish school. (Yorkton is the seat of the Ukrainian branch of the Redemptorist Fathers.)
