Satay
Local Specialties in Penang picture - Satay is pieces of meat (beef, mutton, chicken or pork) seasoned in a medley of spices, skewered on sticks and grilled over slow charcoal fire. It is normally eaten with ketupat (a type of dumpling made from rice) , sliced cucumber & raw onions, dipped in satay sauce which is nutty & slightly spicy.
