My family and myself came to the Bahia Principe in January 2005, and it was by far the best vacation we had ever been on. We have been to other places before but there weren't to many that are comparable. This year we are returning again for some more fun in the sun. I would highly recomend this resort to anybody of all ages. cheers

A week of sun & fun
My husband & I spend the last week of May, 2007 at the Gran Bahia Principe Punta Cana and absolutely loved it. We love to visit islands in the Carribean and this resort by far is at the top. You can't find a resort more clean & prestine. The staff will bend of backwards to make sure you stay happy. Of course a smile goes a long way. When they see a smile on your face they comment about it and they want to keep it that way. Neither of us got sick but we both took Immodium AD the day we got there & pempto bismal tablets each morning as a preventative because it is a foreign country. Take many bottles of sun screan even if you already have a tan and have never got a burn. Enjoy...

Second Time Around
This was our second time to this resort, in Diamond club. First time Feb 14th 2005 second time Feb 24 2007 two weeks each time. We found this time around wasn't as good as first time, Still excellent mind you. Bath towels not until 8:30 to 10:30 PM.

Diamond club pool was very dirty , not cleaned the two weeks we were there, moss growing on tiles. Need to get up before 7:30 AM for shade on beach. Before9:00 AM for chair around pools. Noticed less servers at pool bars. These are a few things we (noticed). Would we go back, Probably YES ! These are minor problems and will be dealt with. The resort is beautiful, the food is great, the service is good. Please remember these wonderful people work long hard hrs. So please give them a smile and a tip. Also a small note all tips are pooled , but gifts go directly to the Employees. Will be heading for Samana next year if things go right, But enjoy your stay at the Bahia ! Fred

Don't give it a second Thought "GO"
Firstly thanks showing the masses your great pics. We were there feb 14 to mar 1- 05 stayed at the club hacienda via sunquest, room over looking pool. We made a mistake last year and went to catalonia Myan in mayan Riviera, after going to the BP it would be hard, because you have just been "spoiled". I'm 62 and wife ? ha ha. We have travelled the most of the world and never went to the same resort. Well guess what I have already paid for a trip in feb24 to march 10 to the Bahia Principe Diamond Club Again Yes! Again. I could only say don't bother thinking about it and go !

trip 7.3.06-7.10.06
spent one week at this beuatiful resort. the construction was first rate and the grounds lush and very well maintained. food was fair, but typical of dom rep. large common areas were not air conditioned and became uncomfortable during evenings. staff was exceptionally nice and accomodating. plenty of hot water. well drinks were made of local liquors and not the best quality, so i stuck with jack daniels for a small upcharge. house wine was sub par so for $15.00 u.s. i had great spanish red wine.

Wondefull
Hello, everyone. I'm from Oporto, Portugal. I been there in December in my honeymoon, this was my big "travel". We been there for 15 days and it's love at first sight, I love that place! I got to go there one day. Everybody there works happy, the locals are very friendly. 5 STAR SERVICE at the Bahia Principe Bavaro. My thanks to Animation group, leading by RAMON and to the rest of friends that i left there.

Loved Bahia Principe
Hi,My boss and I just came back from Punta Cana, Bahia Principe and loved it so much we cried when we had to leave. We've stayed at other resorts and all of them have things you like and dislike but Bahia was a wonderful resort and I'd go back tomorrow if I had the money.

Great pic's,due to go May 06,been to bahia in san juan (north of island)twice, this looks loads better.Does anyone know if the sand flies are bad on the beach as they were in san juan.Do they also spray the whole resort against mosquitoes.

Wow we are heading to Gran Bahai in May 06 and found this really helpfull :-). We booked the Club Haceinda rooms as well. Didnt realize that Club Golden rooms were closer to the beach but enjoy the pool views of the mid section of the hotel anyways . Can't wait to get down there !

Possible Wedding Destination???
Hi there, I'm planning a wedding in Punta Cana for July 2006, with about 30-40 people. Besides the parents most of use are 22-30 years old. Bahia Principe is at the top of our list, but I'm hesitant still....before we make the decision. The pics look awesome....would anyone recommend this resort as compared to others in Punta Cana (for a resonable price like $1500CND)??? Please let me know what your thoughts are. M.K.

DIFFERENCE OF PUNTA CANNA SIDE TO BAVARO
Is there one of each restaurnt on each side or do both sides dine in the same restaurants. Example, if we have friends staying at the Bavaro Run of the hOUse rooms and we are at the Golden...do we get to eat in the same Japanese restaurant ?

Bahia Principe,Punta Cana
Your pics are great, and the menus seem to be helpful too. Who would have thought to take pics of the menus. This was a good idea. I am traveling with my family on the 20th of August till the 27th. I am not in any club section or haceinda. By looking at the map we are in the yellow section. I would really like to be close to the pool, Was wondering if I call or email the resort that I would be able to request a certain section. All you help will be grately appreciated.
