<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> The communal bakery<br> Museums in Saskatchewan picture - (the building to the right of the brick prayer house) was brought to the heritage village from the village of Otradno. The large &#39;peche&#39; (brick oven) is still used on special occasions for baking bread. A fire is made inside the oven to heat the brick, the ashes are then moved to the front &#38; the bread placed in the back part of the oven to bake. About 35 loaves can be baked at one time. (There&#39;s nothing like the great taste of bread baked in these ovens.) Note the old coal and wood stove with a warming oven on top and a water heating reservoir on the right side. All of our Grandmothers had one of those ;o) </div></nolayer></noembed>
