Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic church (1965-66). This is the 3rd church for the parish. The first church was a log structure built in 1904 on a site 6 miles NW of Calder. The 2nd church was built on that same site in 1911. The site is now the parish cemetery and the original belfry is preserved there. I was not able to make prior arrangements to see inside this church but according to the book "Ukrainian Catholic Churches in Saskatchewan" (Baran, 1977), the interior has 2 small side altars and the church patron painting which were saved from the 2nd church.
