On exiting the Taurus Mountains in central Turkey, after passing historys oldest known civilisation (7500 BC) at Catal Hoyuk, I was given a point of reflection on the Middle East region as a whole, often christened the birthplace of civilisation. Without doubt this a true enough claim. If the evidence isnt enough, the vibe emanating from the people, land and buildings is also in support.
