Greenwich indeed is the wealthiest town in the United States. Some institutions, etc may have it rated at number two or three, but in fact there are more Business and Political leaders located in Greenwich than anywhere else in the country. It is a town to be proud of to say the least. There is virtually no crime, and the town is only a forty minute train ride from Manhattan's Grand Central Station. Greenwich Avenue only a blocks walk from the Train is the Rodeo Drive of the East Coast with stores as Tiffany's, Sakes Fifth Ave, etc lining its broad sparkling clean sidewalks. There are restaurants of many international cuisines, movie theaters, jewelry stores, and much more on this incredible Avenue of the Rich and Famous. Dianna Ross, Andy Rooney, Mel Gibson, are just a few of the celebrities who reside in this town. Round Hill Club located on Round Hill Club Road is just about home to our nations power movers. Steve Young of the San Francisco 49er's fame, quarterbacked for Greenwich High School. It is a town of excitement and wondrous intrigue. Originally the United Nations was to be situated in Greenwich, but residents elected to prevent holding that distinction. The town is diverse and well worth a visit if you come to the NYC area!
