Ottawa's Bascillica
This it the best yet..or do I say that everytime? I learned so much and it supassed a visit to see it "a la tourist" I was so interested in the history, the dedication of thousands over so many years and the care and research with which you presented the fruit of your labours. What can I say - WOW, what a splendid cathedral. I must see it someday. I know too well the difficulties of shooting a large church with high ceilings, dark corners & shadows, and the stained glass windows are a real challenge .. One can't quite capture that sense of "awe" in such a spectacular church with a camera & regular flash. One needs movie lights, lots of movie lights ;o)..... But you did an amazing job. Great pix. I had several favorites including Window #3 ;o) The background info you provide is thorough & interesting, as usual. Bravo. Lets see some more Ottawa churches now ;o)
