Day two: We visited Weathercock House (Kazamidoring Yakata) at Kitano area which was constructed as the house of German trader G.Thomas in 1909, and famous for the weathercock on the steeple. Its designated as a National Important Cultural Property. Then we took Shin-Kobe Ropeway (http://feel-kobe.jp/english/sightseeing/kitano24.html) to Nunobiki-Herb Garden. Nunobiki Herb Garden (http://www.kobe-park.or.jp/herb/Language/Englishtop.html) which keeps about 200 kinds of herbs in this garden, and have great fun looking round this fragrant garden.
Day three: We visited Todai-Ji Temple (http://www1.sphere.ne.jp/naracity/e/kan_spot_data/e_si32.html) in Nara. This is the representative temple of the Nara period and its Daibutsu-den, or Great Buddha's Hall, it is the largest wooden structure in the world. In the 15th year of the Tempyo era (743), the Emperor Shomu issued an Imperial edict to cast a great image of Buddha. Then we took Sagano Sight-seeing Tram Line (tour-train) at Kameoka Torokko Station for sightseeing. There is a beautiful Bamboo Grove between Arashiyana Torokko Station and Saga Torokko Station. Theres a famous Togetsukyo Bridge which is a symbol of the Arashiyama area, the beautiful sight of this bridge has been taken up by many a poet.
