The Yusupov Palace displays the art collections of its former owners in most of its rooms. The woman in the painting appears somewhat bored by the efforts of the gentlemen wrestling on the pedestal. Music and drama also play a role at the Yusupov Palace. Its magnificent gilded theatre, originally built for private performances, now entertains the masses.
