One of the typical eating houses (Chaikhanas) on the way from Torkhanm to Kabul. Very basic and quite dirty. We both had a slap up meal of chicken, dal, bread, yoghurt, rice etc. They were welcoming foreigners, and were very hospitable, although very curious at first and the smiles were reserved until we made some contact by breaking the ice by asking for a photo. After that, we could'nt stop them requesting photos. Unfortunately, somebody took a personal stereo from my baggage in the minibus while we ate this meal (Adam).
