I was just surfing and looked up Cushing. I lived there from 1956-1876. My parents owned Oliver's Shoes. As a child I spent so much of my time hanging out downtown. Thanks for providing a little glimps down memory lane.

Thank you, Cushing does have a Walmart and Mc donlads, have a picture of it, just hadn't ran across the jpg yet. it in a shopping area as you first come into town from Drumright Ok , that ten miles away, downtown Cushing used to be the center of everything, but now moved to that shopping area. I saw Ode to Billy Joe in the Cushing movie house back in the summer of 1976, was staying at my grandparents house. picture no 52. they lived there from 1957 to 1986

Ye Gads! I did not see a single Starbucks, WalMart, Home Depot or McDonalds in any of your pictures. Are you sure this is America? It is nice to know that there are places like these in your country!
