Okay, so if you are thinking of hiking around Lake Kawaguchi, I highly suggest you rethink this idea. Like I said before, this day that I went to the lake was sporadically cloudy. I decided to hike around the lake to try to get my kodak moment. Little did I know that the lake is QUITE large. What I thought was only going to be a 2-3 hour hike ended up being more like a 5-6 hour hike. I kept telling myself things like "how large can this lake actually be?" "I can walk the whole thing". Well, to make a long story short, I did finally get my picture of the lake and mountain, but not without soar feet and coming back home well into the night time.
