Kiyomizu Temple<br> Kyoto picture - It was extremely nice to get up somewhat into the mountains to visit this sacred temple. This is me outside the temples leading up to the main structure of this complex. Pay particular attention to the colors of the structures behind me. Most ancient architecture in Japan do not use paint. The designers preferred to leave their structures with their natural organic colors. I found it quite interesting how the architects decided to paint this temple building.
