Located just outside Lexington, the Kentucky Horse Park is the only one of its kind in the world. The Park is dedicated to the relationship between horses and humans, with almost fifty different breeds on a 1200 acre farm.

Opened in 1978, the Park contains two museums: the International Museum of the Horse, with exhibits looking at the history of the different breeds of horses, and the American Saddlebred Museum, which focuses on Kentucky's only native breed.
