Along the side wall, beside the exit, is a red line along various heights of the brickwork. The line is thought to mark the ancient ruins, above which building restoration took place to resemble an approximation of what The House may have looked like at the time of The Virgin Mary's inhabitance. Inside is a small chapel with an altar, in what would have been a small yet comfortable living area. The feeling to be inside this place is indescribable, yet moved me to humble tears.
