The Wonderland Trail circles Mt. Rainier in Washington. My wife and I hiked some sixty miles in six days on the Wonderland and it lived up to its name in every way. The hemlock rainforests, subalpine meadows, glaciers, waterfalls, and lakes with Mt. Rainier always lurking in the near distance made for a varied and exciting experience.
