Kiera, the shark
Buenos Aires picture - After landing in Buenos Aires at around 10:00am on Sunday, my uncle David and Umberto showed me around San Telmo. There was a fair, and the streets were packed with vendors and performers (including tango dancers with a three piece backing band). After getting the tour of San Telmo, we went back to David's apartment where Umberto made some empinadas. Umberto and I had to communicate through David, because the only English he knew was 'Please, sit down' and my Spanish was more than rusty. After empinadas, I went back to the hotel and grabbed a nap (exhausted from not being able to sleep much on any of the planes), woke up and called Kiera, who was having dinner with a friend. I met them at the restaurant, went out to the poolhall pictured above (in Belgrano), and commenced playing terribly. The poolhall had an 'old west' theme, as you can see from the cashier's booth and the two female employees wearing the cowboy hats (they re-rack the balls after each game).
