This is another spectacular view of Rio. However when you know that it is taken from a Favela (a Brazilian ghetto) looking towards the richest part of Rio it kind of puts it in perspective. The Favela takes up an entire mountainside and 250,000 people live there, making it the largest in South America. The poverty level, and overall conditions, in the favela are some of the worst in the world. Going on a tour of the place was a pretty eye-opening experience.
