I decided to drive to the middle of Australia to see Ayers Rock, my trip took me from the Gold Coast in QLD through Coonabarabran and Broken Hill in NSW, Port Augusta and Coober Pedy in South Australia, Alice Springs and Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory and Airlie Beach and Hervey bay in QLD, 7500 kms in 12 days and 3 of those days I stayed in Airlie and did not drive.
