On our way home we went via the coast, it was very overcast at times but always very windy. Our first main stop was Cape Jervis. This is the port where the Ferry to Kangaroo Island leaves from. This is a short trip across the Backstairs Passage, around 15 to 20 kms. I was surprised at the ruggedness of the coast. There is 22 wind generators situated near Cape Jervis.
