It is also known as Menara Kuala Lumpur. The construction of the K.L. Tower was a 3-phase process that began on October of 1991. It was first opened to the public in July of 1996. It is the tallest tower in Southeast Asia and the fourth tallest tower in the world at 421 metres. It's located beside the Petronas Twin Towers and in the center of the Golden Triangle, atop Bukit Nanas (Pineapple Hill).
