Before I moved to Seattle, I played bridge in Peoria with Bobbie Straker. She came to the NABC in Vancouver, and we played together a lot. Most of it didn't go so well, but we picked up another pair and played in a Knockout and made it to the final round before our luck ran out. That won us about 5 gold points and Bobbie made Life Master. I don't remember the other two guys' names.
