Bonjour Kyle. It looks as though you are enjoying yourself in France. We had a slide show today in class on Alsace and Tyler pulled this site up for the class to see - tres cool!!!

When I was at the Universite (for 2 months summer 1997)in Strasbourg, I stayed at the Foyer des etudiants catholiques on Place St. Etienne. Nearby, there is the retaurant "trois brasseurs". Maybe they still have a happy hour sort of thing where you can get all you can eat (a volonte) tarte flambee between 5 and 7. It's pretty cheap there. There is also a neat and lively student area w/terraces, bars and restaurants in a hidden courtyard near the cathedral. I think you take rue des freres - when you see le Gayot, the courtyard is through some nearby passages. Check it out if you haven't already!!!

Hi Kyle,
These pics really do bring up nice memories of the Alsace Region, an area that I have visited several times. The castle on the 1st picture is Chateau du Haut Koenigbourg and the view on photo #15 (hidden behind Nadine) is the charming old quarter of Colmar called Petite Venise. I hope to see many more photos of this fascinating region. Thanks and regards.
