<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> Zagreb Sunset, Jelacic Square<br> Eastern Europe picture - This statue, honoring Croatia&#39;s national hero Ban Josip Jelacic, was dedicated as the focal point of Zagreb&#39;s most important square in November,1866. Between salvos of cannon fire, thousands of Croats shouted over and over, &#34;Slava Mu! --hail him! Yugoslavia&#39;s Tito had the statue hauled away in 1947 because it was too closely linked with Croat nationalism. When Croatia achieved its independence in 1990, the statue was lovingly returned to its place in the square. </div></nolayer></noembed>
