<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> Sisi&#39;s spirit, Corfu, Greece<br> Eastern Europe picture - Elizabeth, wife of Emperor Franz Joseph of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, could not tolerate life in the Imperial Court. Known by the nickname of Sisi, she took refuge in isolation and illness and eventually fled Vienna to live in elegant seclusion, mostly in the Achillion Palace she built on the Greek island of Corfu. She suffered from depression and suicidal fantasies. In 1898, while visiting Geneva, Switzerland, she was stabbed to death by an anarchist. The Achillion was later occupied by Kaiser Wilhelm of Germany, and today is a museum. In this photograph, I depict the restless spirit of Sisi, which must certainly haunt this place. </div></nolayer></noembed>
