Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Athens<br> Eastern Europe picture - Our cruise ended in Athens, where we spent two days before flying home. While there we saw the changing of the guard at Greece's Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Syntagma Square. The tomb is flanked with texts from Pericles' famous funeral oration. The guards are on continuous duty at the tomb, but are best appreciated as they perform their high stepping precision changeover wearing their famous uniforms of kilts and pom-pom clogs.
