Two local kids who followed us for a while on the approach to the Buddhist cliffs. As a huge number of the Bamiyan population were massacred by the Taliban in 1999, most youngsters of this age are probably re-settled Afghan refugees born in the vast refugee camps of Peshawar,Pakistan. So although they would of endured much hardship, they hopefully would not of been scarred by war in their time.
