Okay, I admit, these pictures are pretty random. But it was my first day and I was trying to "capture the essence" of the place for everyone back home. I don't know if it worked, you'll have to tell me. But it's really hard to contain the "essence" of a city like Madrid. I loved it there. And I promise, for the most part, my pictures make more sense from here on out. :o)
