Day 12: Orange
Day 12: Leaving our homestay family was... not all that difficult. Getting back together with everyone, the four of us found out we'd pretty much gotten shafted as far as families go. Everyone else was eating gourmet and lounging in big flats or houses. We slept four to a room and ate... icky food. But anyway. Then we continued on to Orange, which is a town I filed away in the "Awesome Romantic Getaway" file in my brain. We got to walk around and go shopping. We stopped in a grocery store, where I picked up some fruit and such. Lunch was good. Orange is awesome. Very quaint. I highly recommend it. After Orange, we went to Lyon, where we had a tiny amount of time before going to dinner. Which took forever. But was pretty good. I enjoyed it anyway. Lyon... is just like any city, really. Dirtier than any city we'd been in so far, but cleaner than a lot of the ones I've been in at home, too. We spent the night in Lyon.
