Mission B.C. is a lovely little community in the Fraser Valley about one hours drive east of Vancouver. The name "Mission" was derived from St. Mary's Mission and Residential School which whas founded in 1861 to serve the First Nations children and families. The buildings that made up this complex were in operation untill 1961 at which time they were removed.
