WOPS
Hello Mike, did you know that all peoples of the world entering Ellis Island, without papers, were called WOPS by the authorities (hence the title) A lot of people think that this is a derogatory word against Italians ! Not so... Most people arriving had no papers be they Brit's, Scot's, Italians whatever. So you see, we were ALL WOPS. Cheers Terry.
