Driving from Las Vegas to Zion National Park is only two and half hours. This is a major motivation for me to go there, cause last time we went to Grand Cayon and drove five and half hours and we don't want to try again...ha. We chose the "less than 3 hours plan" and took a shuttle bus ride. 90 minutes round trip and still came back to Vegas in the same day.
