Bundaberg city is located 360 kms north of Brisbane in Queensland Australia, and 13 kms from the coast. The city was named in 1867, using the name "Bunda", the name of an aboriginal elder and "berg" being a variation of an old Saxon word for town (burg). These days the locals mostly call the city Bundy.
