Arthur, if you want travel go to a travel page with all the wanting-to-sell-you-something type hype, take a plane, take train enjoy yourself! This is proletarian journalism, grassroots, heart of the land stuff, and a capture of history at the grassroots level. Thanks Pam...keep on clicking!

thank you
thank you looking at my photos, I have fun taking them, it fills up my time in the car , you see what I see, I just hold a camera as I pass by. I had fun taking pictures of the court house, it took about 15 minutes to film it, I just ask them, they said ok, went on the elvator to each floor ,as I was taking them a man was delivering the water bottles to each floor to, I like pop machines, and phones, normal stuff, that changes through time, we still will have pop machinces and phones but they will change their looks, so I like taking pictures of them so someone later can see what we see now.

Pam- thanks for giving us more "local color" of small-town Oklahoma. Good work as usual.

I think it is great to show an area where a relative lives. That way through the pictures you get to see the everyday life. That is way more interesting than any trumped up commercial pieces.
This shows the real world not the phony stuff.

Sorry, I meant Arthur...and anyone else who's got a bone to pick with Pam!

Sorry, Anthony, can't help but disagree with you. Pam's article has a lot more to do with travel than people sharing their party pics thru this site. What Pam is sharing is 100% USA that's outside of the redundant pics of NYC, San Francisco, Yosemite, etc., etc. There are some of us who do seek America that's out of the mainstream. Keep up your good work, Pam There are some of us who appreciate what you're doing!

This is a very nice piece of history!!
Brenda Baugh, October 13, 2003
Isn't history amazing when you can take photos of places where things happened years before us? Great way to capture history!
Roberta "Bert" Dooley, October 13, 2003
So what?
Not very interesting considering you call this a travel article.
