Cushing Okla. My family settled here in 1889 Simon Cockrell, later came his spouse Mary Ann family the Dobson in 1890 and my grandpa Wesley Cockrell was born here in 1898, their first child of 9. He never lived anywhere else ,he lived to be 90 years old. Cushing used to be a place where I visit my grandparents and when my aunt and uncles and cousins came to visit we met at my grandparents, now they are both gone. I visit the town now.
