Soverign Hill in Ballarat stretches the period atmosphere to its outermost limit. A stagecoach ride, seen here, is one of the joy rides in the park. The horses need to be fat and healthy, as the coaches are jumbo sized, and run full, and the turns are very steep, and unpaved. Four horses pull each coach.
