A sulphur crested cockatoo in a cage in the Wildlife Wonderland in Vic. His partner, whose shadow can be seen in the picture at far right, flew up to a bar at my forehead level and proceeded to admonosh me with a deafening screech and a one legged dance! Sulphur crested cockatoos can be seen flying around the countryside in large flocks, and have given Australia the reputation of being 'the land of parrots'.
