A little out of sequence, this pleasant patch of aster was growing atop a pile of rubbish, just outside the Wildlife Wonderland at Bass Strait, Vic. Another attraction, apart from the wildlife resort itself was an abandoned railroad, with a couple of defunct train cars nearby. It was being turned into a restaurant when we visited in July 2003.
