Port #3 on the Carnival Liberty was Venice, Italy. This was not our favorite port, but, we did see the charm of the city. Our first day's visit did not leave us with the best impression. We only saw St. Marks Square, the Rialto Bridge, and the maze of streets in-between. Very crowded and unclean. The next day, we ventured out of the main crowded areas and enjoyed the less traveled pedestrian streets and bridges. We had lunch at a sidewalk cafe on the Grand Canal and left Venice with a much better feeling than the evening
