Just returned from a very moving journey into the heart of the tsunami-ridden southern coast of Sri Lanka. We began our stay in Unawatuna, once rated one of the top ten beaches on the planet. Today the tiny village is still very much in the recovery phase, with many residents living in tents almost one year after the tragedy. I would wager that the beach has been knocked back a few notches on the list.
