Taman Negara Sungai Relau, Merapoh Pahang

Taman Negara Sungai Relau is located on the western side of Taman Negara in Peninsular Malaysia. The park was opened to the public in August 1993. The park office is 7 km from the small town of Merapoh. It is about 30 km to Gua Musang, Kelantan to the north and 100 km to Kuala Lipis to the south. Taman Negara Sungai Relau is the second access point for mountain climbing to Gunung Tahan. The route to Gunung Tahan is a mere 2 days as compared to the longer trek of 5 days from Kuala Tahan. A ... Relau-Gunung Tahan
If there is a winner for "Visit Malaysia Year 2007" website it will be yours! Congratulations!I have just taken my family (2 teenagers plus hubby and 2 other families) up Mount Kinabalu on "family holiday" and now your website has given me the inspiration to scale Gunung Tahan via Relau. Need more information on how to get there (from Penang) and how to organise mountain guides/porter, who to contact etc. Appreciate any help you can give. Chow Yen.
