Promenade, El Jardin, Guanajuato<br> San Miguel de Allende picture - The Jardin is the heart of Guanajuato. It comes alive at night as couples take over the benches, and visitors stroll the sidewalks of this small triangular park defined by perfectly square cut trees. In the middle of the triangle is a bandstand, erected in 1883. I braced my camera on one of its railings and held its shutter open for a quarter of a second to turn these passing figures into ghostly blurs. This was among the final images of our three-day visit to Guanajuato. The next morning, we departed for an eight-day visit to nearby San Miguel de Allende.
