Forest of Palms
Colombia picture - Valle de Cocora, Colombia, hosts the world's largest remaining colony of wax palms on Earth. The wax, or cera palm, holds the honorable distinction of being the world's tallest. It's natural habitat is in the cloud forest of Colombia's Quindio Department, a few miles into a lovely, lush valley, with only a few farmhouses around. Probably the most beautiful place I've ever been!
