Aaah, Looks Like Home
Once again I must comment on your pictures! You are shooting all the scenes where I grew up and spent my teen and young adult life. So not only is each picture wonderfully framed and artfully captured, but it evokes memories for me. I remember the smell of the clean air, the feeling of the crisp chill on my cheeks, the wind in my ears and the bright sunlight in my eyes. Mount Rundle feels so familiar. And I haven't thought of those places for so long.

The last picture is the view that, as a child I thought looked like a giant spider on the mountain side. The valleys all come into the centre and looked to me like a 'daddy-long-legs' spider.

It is always wonderful to see my playground portrayed with such affection.Banff is not my favourite place to go anymore; rather the Jasper area is more to my senses... are you a film user? I truly enjoyed this trip of yours.. we are neighbours(BC), but I am Albertan born and that is something no Canadian ever forgets no matter where they live. G. Horn

Thank you friends. Yes, Banff is an awesome place and during the winter time very busy too! For skiers, paradise and you don't have to be an expert or advanced. Hot springs - of course during the cold weather is the best time to be in the pool and enjoy hot spa :))). Rugged area - yes, very much and some very remote.

"A world-renowned park"
Banff is really world famous, it seems like it's in every travel magz. I've seen that pic of Main street, for a second I thought it was a postcard:) You must've waited for quite awhile in that crossing, 163 wagons is indeed a very long train! Mt. Rundle looks like its begging to be climed, such inviting jagged peaks. Looks like a great place for altitude diving too, but the avid skiers must be begging for snow to start falling. Wonder if there's people at the pool during winter? Even if it's hot springs, it must be very cold to take a dip in the dead of winter:) We gotta see Banff someday, thanks for the fabulous pics!!!
