The 'broken pillar' formation inside the Lucas Cave at Jenolan, again washed out due to use of 800 ISO film. Amazingly,we did not find any bats inside the caves. The guide assured us that there are scores of varieties, but they have all been driven away. It is forbidden to touch any of the cave walls to prevent discoloration, which spreads. We were shown blackened portions among the pure cream colored walls, the result of careless tourists rubbing their hands on the walls.
