2. Commuter train approaches Central.<br> Sightseeing in Sydney picture - Several intra city journeys in Sydney have to be done by suburban train. Almost all are ribbed stainless steel bodied double decker stock like the one here. There are several new 'Tangara' trainsets with streamlined ends as well. Most of the route is underground, double decker stock notwithstanding. We were pleasantly surprised to suddenly emerge on the surface to meet this train on the next track. This is taken from inside our train when both trains are in motion.
